Le Parfait Jars – Timeless French Glassware for Preserving & Everyday Living

Born in the 1930s, these iconic glass jars have lived in kitchens for generations, holding everything from fresh-picked jams to homemade pickles.

Today, Le Parfait jars are loved not only by those who preserve and ferment, but also by anyone who believes everyday objects should be both useful and beautiful.

Since 1930, Le Parfait has embodied French expertise in home preservation

Born in Reims at the Verreries Mécaniques Champenoises, the brand quickly gained recognition for its durable, reusable, healthy, and economical glass jars. At a time when sterilization and long-term food preservation were essential, Le Parfait offered reliable solutions, such as the iconic Super and Familia Wiss® jars, that preserved the full flavor of food.

The Iconic Jar: The "Super"

Today, there is no doubt that the Le Parfait jar, with its distinctive orange seal, has become a symbol recognized across generations. And to be sure you own an original, you don’t need to be an expert, just a few simple checks are enough.

The Familia Wiss® Jar

The historic Le Parfait® Familia Wiss® jar, available in a terrine shape with a screw-top closure, is made from thick, durable glass. It is specially designed for food sterilization and stands out for its conical shape. It features a food-safe metal cap and a reusable lid, ensuring an airtight seal. Both the lid and cap have been produced in Massilly, France (71), since 1970.
